About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to meet people who will change my life. Or at least make me laugh.
ABOUT ME
I'm short, sweet, (sometimes shy) and sassy. :-) I really am.
Other than that...I love traveling, being in an environment different from my own. I love learning new languages (as horrible as I may be at it!) and *experiencing* other cultures through their food, their customs, their slang, their body language...Meeting new people merely affirms my personal philosophy of leaving behind a legacy.
So, who am I? I'm a fancy vagabond.
Although I live for my heels and dresses, I honestly am a tee-shirt/jeans sort of girl. I love hiking and horseback riding. Tennis, jazz, photography and travel are my passions. Meeting people turns me on.
I was raised to be a lady - sometimes I can be sickeningly polite and cleanish, but that's mostly just nerves. But give me a gin + tonic and I'll chill out. :)
I love doing everything. I'm happy at home, hanging out with movies, coffee, the Wii. I'm completely at home at the local pub or the downtown lounges or in the dance clubs. As long as I'm experiencing something, I'm happy to participate.
I think food is wonderful. Who doesn't love good food? Or a hefty drink?
I'm a slightly psychotic traveler. Meet me (or facebook me) and you'll understand how. But I like to think it's psychotic in a charming, quirky (read: ridiculous) way...
More about me? I smile and laugh a lot. I'm a bit of a camera slut, I love being in front of anything flashing at me. I sing and hum all the time, particularly when I'm in a good mood, which is often. And I love hugs. :-)
PHILOSOPHY
I want to influence and I want to be influenced. I want to remember and to be remembered. It's all about legacy, man. Making a name for yourself and all that jazz.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participated in the CS2 Project by creating a profile. :-) I will continue to participate by offering copious amounts of alcohol (or chocolate!) for a place to stay for a night...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been "homeless" in New York for about a year now, crashing on random friends' couches, spare beds, aeromattresses, bathtubs, hallways and kitchen floors. It's been a wonderful year. :)
Other than that, my official Couchsurfing experiences have been limited to the weekly Thursday NYC CS meets, which are loads of fun. So if you're in NYC, do stop by for a drink!

I also jumped out of a moving van in Paris.
I jumped off a galloping horse in Massachusetts.
I jumped off a bridge in Oxford.
I've done a lot of fairly low-to-medium risk jumping...
