About Me
Hi there!
My name is Therese, and I'm a born and raised Norwegian!
I am a pretty laidback and easygoing person, living life pretty much day by day. I'm more spontaneous than a planner wich people often pick up on!
Other than that I'm pretty much a very humble being, always trying to stay positive and respectful towards others.
I'm a very curious person and love to experience whatever I may stumble upon, so I'm pretty open for stuff to do wich can either be a blessing or a curse for other people! I usually just go with the flow and see where it takes me, for me that's the best way to go!
I appreciate the chance to get to know other people, their culture and whatever it is that I can learn from them. Since I started travelling solo I have a newfound love for life out in the world and all the wonderful people in it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best way for me when travelling is staying with the locals. Getting the culture and life of the country I'm visiting up close is more valuable than anything. Learning the everyday life and being present in another culture is something I highly appreciate, and I can look back on some amazing encounters!
Interests
I am a very laidback person, so chilling at home with movies or reading is always good. But I do not mind a party at all either!
I love listening to music, and dancing is also a part of that!
I like to read. Books, comics, articles I find on the internet, whatever. As long as it's interesting! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is my therapy! You'll never see me walking around without my earplugs in my ears.
I can listen to everything depending on my mood, but oldschool hiphop and dancehall can never be wrong! :)
I don't read as much as I probably should, but I enjoy taking trips to the library and browse the shelves for some good reading. I prefer reading about real life events, mostly crime-stuff. But a good book is a good book no matter genre!
Kicking back with movies are great. I'm not too picky here either!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was WWOOFing in Australia wich to this date is one of the coolest things I've ever done! Tons of new experiences that I would never done otherwise such as planting bamboo, herding alpaccas, harvesting avocados the size of melons (they were delicious too!), carry around goats that went where they weren't supposed to be, etc. So much fun! And being able to stay with the families and be considered a familymember was also such a great experience, and it got me hooked on staying with the locals at the places I visit! :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I respect those who open up their homes for travelling strangers and I will repay the trust with exactly that and full honesty.
I'm calm, kind of quiet, I will help out with chores if there's any help needed.
I like to get to learn how people live all over the world and there's no better way than living with the locals!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach some Norwegian, and some fancy words in my accent so that you can wow (or scare) others!
I also offer a listening ear and always up to some amazing conversations.
I will gladly help around with anything that needs to be done! Either it's some cooking, cleaning or doing the dishes!
