About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore new ways of living a simpler life not bound by restrictions and avoiding the predestined "American Corporate Dream"
ABOUT ME
Since August 2010 my boyfriend Brian and I and our two dogs, Buddha and Ernie, have been traveling the US in our RV, named Stanley, seeking great craft beer destinations. We have found that visiting a local brewery is the best way to get to know others that live in an area and we are able to get good tips from them on where to go and what to do. We write about our travels on our website TheRoamingPint.com where you can generally tell where we are based on the breweries we've visited. If we are in your neck of the woods, send us a shout, we love meeting other locals over a pint of well-crafted beer!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is that you don't have to live your life in drama, anger, a crap job, sadness or any other negative feeling. You can create your own destiny. The mind is VERY powerful. The main person telling yourself you can't is you. Surround yourself with enablers that understand you and what you want to do in life and they will help you achieve your goals. My goal in life is to prove there are more ways to live life than stuck in a 9-5.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since we have an RV and two dogs, we do not need a couch, just a curb, street or driveway (preferably level) that we can park our 29' Class C motorhome. It generally takes up the same amount of space as two small cars. We are very self-sufficient and don't really need anything other than that. If there is a possibility to run an extension cord for electricity that would be great but not necessary. We typically stay in an area for a few days before moving on, unless we have the opportunity to stay longer. Basically, we take what we can get! :)

Music, Movies, and Books
3 most influential books: 4 hour workweek, crush it, rich dad poor dad
Some of my favorite music (really too many to name but...) Santigold, MIA, Kayne West, RHCP, Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Kid Cudi, Frank Sinatra, Old school hip hop, anything with soul, funk or a good beat. Really anything but new country and death metal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We have backpacked in Europe twice, first for the 2006 World Cup and again in 2010. We were in Italy in 2006 to witness the semi-final and final win. It was one of the most amazing things I will ever experience in my life. The feeling of an entire country screaming their heads off in happiness is truly unbeatable.
Currently we are enjoying living a simple life in a RV traveling the US. We've been to 28 states and counting, spending most of 2012 on the East Coast, and planning on cutting back across to the west side in 2013.
Teach, Learn, Share
Locals are the best way to see a city. They know what's good and where to take you. The best times we've had on our travels were with people that could show us around. I enjoy learning about new cultures, new ways of life, and learning from others past experiences.
We are expert RVers so if you have any questions about RVing let us know. We are always looking to have young(er) RVers to join us on the road.
We are specialized in a number of different areas of design including, graphic design, web design, service design, interaction design, experience design, UI design and branding to name a few.
