ABOUT ME

I am an environmental engineer who has two excitable kids with my partner here in Brussels. We used to couchsurf when we were younger, but would now like to get back into it and meet new people.

I also enjoy going away with friends camping, hiking or canoeing; exploring what life is all about; studying french; playing canoe polo; and working on issues of injustice (particularly climate change).

I can get quite passionate about things that happen around me, but then at other times just want to chill out - either in front of the TV or to some chill music or by cooking with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Good food brings happiness. We can't stick our head in the sand.

In Australia I loved showing Australia off to visitors - particularly camping. Now I would like to show people around our current home in Brussels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing, but have been encouraged by several friends who have had great experiences with it.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Sat around a room with people who all genuinely care that a great injustice is happening and know they have the skills to do something about it (even if they don't have positions of power). The deep, gut wrenching desire to help.
