About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Show people great hospitality

ABOUT ME

I've been living Las Vegas for the past 13 years. I spent my highschool years exploring the city and my college years enjoying all the parts it had to offer me once I turned 21. Now I'm off in the world, making a buck or two, and enjoying a decent cocktail at a few of my local hangouts. I'm more a lounge and downtempo type of guy than the kind of host you'd want to go clubbing with you at Studio 54, but I can show you some awesome off-the-strip hookah-bars, local spots, and maybe give in and grab a bite to eat or a drink near the casinos.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life as it where my last day on planet earth. I like to try and be as dynamic as possible from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to having new experiences, and being introduced to new cultural adventures and opportunities for cultural exploration through the couchsurfing network. I'm really hoping to find a few holidays from other cultures (I'm Armenian and proud of my heritage), to celebrate and enjoy. If anyone in Vegas cares to invite me to something unique, I'd love to give it a try and drop in.

As for hosting and surfing, I'm looking forward to hosting when I'm able to, but it's kind of intermittent at the moment. Send me a request my way and see what happen... I also can't wait for my first time couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience basically started when I let my best friend down by promising to couchsurf with him across Europe after TELLING HIM about the couchsurfing.org, before bailing on him. Now he's a CS Ambassador (he got crazy into ) and he's got me trying to get active in the community, so I look forward to following in his footsteps (though a bit less fanatically).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My best friend (and the Long Beach City Ambassador for Couchsurfing) put me on a national TV show called Scare Tactics. We laugh now, but I was pissed for ages.

I've seen my parent's homeland (Armenia) come back from a difficult time, and found a beauty there as an adult which I never appreciated as a young child. I never expected to fall in love with the country, but it is an amazing one.

I've been to many music festivals far from my home. It sounds trite, but when you drive to these things, it's that old trope "Life's a journey, not a destination". The stories I have from these experiences are cinematic, epic, hillarious, tragic, and some of my favorites to share.

I wouldn't say I'm "The Most Interesting Man in the World", but I do drink Dos Equis, and am often mistaken for that guy's protege'.
