About Me
I guess I'm considered to be an adventurous guy in general and one of my favorite things to do is traveling the world with a backpack on my back. Like most other couch surfers, right? ;)
When not traveling I'm working in the IT and Software Development industry which I really enjoy. Life is just too short not to enjoy both your free time AND all the time you actually spend working .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling and couch surfing is the ultimate experience of life. You get to meet so many people you otherwise would have missed and I believe every single meeting between people is fantastic. Being a host is fun because you get to share your city and it's a little bit like traveling even though you're at home. I have probably hosted more people than I have surfed with but it has regardless been nothing but a good experience every time. Some people have become my friends that I stay in contact with after years and years of our initial meeting and in many cases I've had the opportunity to meet up with them again and again which is awesome.
Interests
I love all kinds of outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and especially alpine skiing and snowboarding. Most of my vacations are spent traveling around the world. I just can't stop exploring stuff! While traveling I like to meet interesting people and have good conversations about just anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a bit of an "all eater" when it comes to music. As much as I enjoy dancing the night away to really good house music in a warehouse somewhere in, let's say Berlin, I also love to be pushed around in the middle of a dedicated SKA band audience. Swedish pop music is something I also enjoy a lot and these days I usually always have my headset with me so I can enjoy music when on the run.
When it comes to books I'm a sucker for thrillers and criminal novels. Besides that I sometimes enjoy work stuff as well, haha.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's always hard to decide which cherry to pick and tell about but Iran, Bolivia and Mongolia are places I'm happy to talk about! Recently I also have Nepal and India as places that left me with a mix of memories :)
