Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
trying to minimize my impact as a human.
ABOUT ME
I love music and people. I love to cook, travel, sing, play music, listen to it, walk, talk, bike. Fly a kite. Chill at night. Wake up in the morning for a fresh bite. Of something.
PHILOSOPHY
Love Life. Chall!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Try to be a courteous ambassador of the US. I have not had the means to host yet, but when I have them I look forward to it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had people just invite me in off of the street to their house for a place to stay and a home cooked meal. These were the types of experiences that were the most meaningful and affirming in the goodwill of the human race. Couchsurfing.org is attempting to facilitate this spirit in a world that grows increasingly untrusting and untrustworthy. The experiences that I have had through the site have been overwhelming, I have exchanged philosophy, learned to cook wonderful meals, laughed my ass off, and confided in people I had just met. Excited to give back what I have been given:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Like it all...some of my favorites:
Books - Terry Prachet. Tolkein. Eddings. The Magicians. Jules Verne. Okay I suppose all of this is sci-fi/fantasy:)
Movies - Coen Brothers (in particular Millers crossing, and The Dude covers part of my life philosophy.)
- Wes Anderson - his ability to capture the joys of the quirkiness of people while accomplishing little in the form of plot is supreme.
- Aronofsky (Death is the Road to Awe!)
- Disney/Pixar!! - seriously, name a Disney movie that sucks
Music - difficult to say these ten artists interchange in my top five depending on mood.
The Band
Pink Floyd
Radiohead
Jeff Buckley
Hot Chip
George Winston (if you don't know him, learn him!)
Johnny Coltrane
The Avett Brothers
Yann Tiersen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycled through an amazing stretch of Europe mostly with the company of my own crazy mind:)
Somehow survived in Madrid for a week.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show ya how to make some great bread. I can sing for you, I can play the saxophone. I have some knowledge of repairing bicycles, but definitely not an expert. I love to cook as well. I make simple food that the body digests well if you are interested.
