I'm very nomadic. I grew up on a sailboat near San Diego, but I would call New Zealand home. I have traveled to 48 countries, having lived in 8 of them; and I have recently moved to Estonia :-) I am always up for a laugh. My laugh is also obscenely loud at times. Fair warning ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a very social creature. I like to meet new people. Try local cuisine. Although I'm vegetarian ... and allergic to wheat. Go figure ... but the sheer array of food I still manage to find to eat is rather impressive. Hostels do provide a social atmosphere--at times--but I think there is something magical about wanting to share your home with travelers.
