ABOUT ME
My name is Lacie, and I am the ripe young age of 23. I keep a frisbee in my back pocket, and I spend almost all of my time in theatre. I am a carpenter and I do some sound and lighting. It comes easy because I love the arts and have used tools since I was 5. Theatre takes up 3/4 of my life. The rest is spent traveling and doing humanitarian work.
Right now I'm working in the Chicago suburb Arlington Heights. If you want to get together, get ahold of me!
PHILOSOPHY
I am a listener. It's amazing what you can learn if you just give people the opportunity to talk. Whenever I meet someone new, I ask them their story. Some are a little wary to tell, but I leave it as an open ended question. A person's story is whatever they want to share about themselves, however much or little. I have been able to learn so many different things of the world by listening to what people have to say, that speaking about them just on a website would not even begin to do them justice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was on a trip with some people to finish a building project on the top of a hill in Jamaica, and we were to finish a dorm building so the host we were staying with could bring in larger teams. This building is also where would be sleeping. When we got there, we found that the team prior to us hadn't been able to get as much completed as they wanted, so the only thing finished was the framing. I'm grateful for that, because at night, all around us was the clearest, blackest sky I have ever seen. The fact that there were no walls and no roof allowed us to sleep under a sky that was infused with more stars than one can possibly imagine.
