About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to explore the world
ABOUT ME
I am a teacher and a student on this planet.
PHILOSOPHY
I continually strive to use my expectations as a tool for my dreams but not as a captor of reality.
"Expectations are at once our strength and a folly: We have the power to dream in ideals which give us some sense of a perfection to be reached for, and at the same time we limit our experience of what is real by attempting to define and control something that cannot be defined or controlled, only understood intuitively. That understanding demands a certain flexibility that is much less attractive than it's archetypical representation which lives in our hearts and minds".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I symbolically and quite literally rang in the new year (2008) with my good friends in Nagoya. We stood around a bon fire drinking sake at a Shinto shrine a few steps from their house with the neighborhood, it was wonderful.
Then we drove to the sea and froze our butts off waiting for the sunrise. It was like nothing I have ever seen. A gigantic golden sphere rose from the sea. It's intense bursts of gold rays almost blinded me but I looked forward and couldn't look away.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook a mean tofu scramble, yummy vegan Mexican green chile and I can cook almost any Mexican dish veggie style.
I can also teach you English or Spanish. And I've been told I'm "crafty" so be prepared for a DIY diva... hahaha! ;P
