About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Open my eyes, absorb my surroundings, have a good laugh or 10, and then take a picture of it.

ABOUT ME

My name's Tonya and I'm coming up on 30. I'm a bit of a chameleon, constantly adapting to my surroundings. My friends call me t-bone... I guess I have a little hip-hop spirit in me :) I'm currently living in Seoul, South Korea, and enjoy yoga, cycling and hiking. I also love plants and gardening, although this year space and time made it difficult to grow. I love working with children; I think it's the key to staying in touch with your inner child. I try to travel as much as possible. I'm a learner at heart, wanting to experience all I can through people, cultures, languages, and travel. I'm really interested in how things work mechanically. Some think I'm quirky, and I happily agree with them :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live. Moment. Truth. You can only see as far as you think.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

through surfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience has only been positive. I first learned about CS second hand- my friend D hosted a couple folk from the Netherlands and also a couple people living in Korea. After I started planning my trip for Paris I knew I wanted to get my feet wet and start my own experiences with couch surfing. I haven't looked back since then.
