ABOUT ME

Update!:
We are no longer in Galway! My flatmate Martina can be found studying maple syrup(or her actual degree) in Canada while I may be found in the middle of the ocean looking at fishies.. So unfortunately we can no longer host anyone.

How would I describe myself...hmmm...
I'm a pint-sized lady who also happens to be a complete adrenaline junkie with a never ending lust for adventure. I adore travelling and meeting so many amazing people on the journey. I love hearing peoples stories and experiencing a new culture as best I can. I'm always up for fun and a laugh, but be warned, my dancing is comparable to those awkward uncles at weddings! I would say im pretty laid-back and have found that just going with the flow results in some of the most incredible and random adventures. I fully believe that life is for living, not just existing.
I should throw in that i'm officially a marine scientist now : ) Basically I go on boats and end up covered in fish guts. Far from the most glamorous job in the world but I enjoy it. I love the sea!
A lot of people tend to get confused when it comes to pronouncing my name. It sounds nothing like its written, it's one of those weird Irish names. It sounds more like Neeve! Seriously :P

I was able to host a few people last year whenever I wasn't too busy with college. Such a fun experience : )

If I couchsurf at yours expect a crazy Irish girl to come up with some epic adventure!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a few times and had some INCREDIBLE experiences I will never never forget. I've met some of the most interesting and amazing people. Their stories can be so inspirational. I also attended the worlds largest gathering of couchsurfers in Paris last Summer.

兴趣

I love music, I play guitar(badly), piano and i'm currently trying to teach myself to play the ukulele. But my true love is definitely in travelling. Nothing makes me feel more alive than landing in a new country.
I've been to many places around Europe including Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Greece. I love seeing new places and different cultures and of course trying the local food :P I adore silly random adventures and the people you get the meet along the way. I also LOVE being by the sea!
Ever since I was about 11 or 12 years old I always wanted to go cage diving with great white sharks. Its one of my biggest dreams and hopefully I'll get a chance to do it in the future.

Music: rock, reggae, classical, indie, pop. Honestly I could listen to almost anything

Movies: Again, I could watch almost everything. I enjoy comedies, horror, thriller, drama, documentaries.
Some movies I like: Big fish, Across the Universe, Amelie, Motorcycle diaries, Kill Bill, pan's labyrinth, moulin rouge, a map for Saturday.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

NIAMH: I've had the chance to do a fair bit of traveling and seen some amazing places. I've climbed Mount Vesuvius and visited Pompeii. Such a sight to see the city of ash uncovered! I've hiked the hills of Wales and slept under the stars. Explored beautiful Sardinia by bike, metro'ed around Paris, partied with the Spanish, kayaked the waters around Greece, cooked dinner over a volcano in the Canaries and said hello to the pope in the Vatican.
I lived in a botantical garden in the Caribbean for a month doing all kinds of work.
I have dived with giant string rays and baracuda by day and enormous sleepy green turtle by night.
