Overview
About Me
After adventuring and traveling South America after high school, I went and got a Biology degree in Portland, and have buckled down since graduating to focus on my goal of getting a nursing license. I currently work as a crisis counselor and caseworker for teenagers in Eugene, OR. Which isn't to say that I don't make time to backpack, run around on beaches and in old growth forests, or dance at shows. I live in a tiny cabin here that is part of a big co-op with small children and young folks my age alike. I would love to host surfers, but we're at full capacity at the moment!
Interests
Things that inspire me include: languages, unusual NGOs, slam poetry, protesting, modern dance, bass musicians (and most music), fermented foods, medical anthropology, Food Not Bombs, street medics, gardeners, unusual crafters, and more.
But mostly I just would like to meet people and learn about their interests.
