About Me
Lived a handful of places, speak a handful of languages, but northern California is hella home and always will be. And well, yeah. I'm just a dorky guy who really loves life.
“People of accomplishment rarely sit back and let things happen to them. They go out and happen to things.”
-Leonardo da Vinci
”The night sky was so starry, so bright, that one had to ask onesself whether ill-humored and capricious people could live beneath such a sky. That, too, is a youthful sentiment, dear reader; very youthful: but may the Lord put it more frequently in your heart!”
-Fyodor Dostoevsky, “White Nights”
"We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children."
-Haida Indian proverb
“I hate it when they say, ‘If you’ve done nothing wrong then you’ve got nothing to hide.’ Everyone’s got something to hide.”
-Banksy
“Life is a combination of magic and pasta.”
-Federico Fellini
"Don't lose your faith to your lost naiveté."
-Green Day, "¡Viva la Gloria!"

OK Go, Milk Carton Kids, Wolf Parade, Alt J, Hozier (he is my current obsession), bowie, simon & garfunkel are some names that pop to mind.... Favorite movie: "Contact", favorite book: either The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón or Snow by Orhan Pamuk
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bike toured from 14,000 feet up in the Andes in Cusco, Peru, over 200 miles to the end of the road at 1,000 feet of elevation in the Amazon jungle!
Teach, Learn, Share
I always want to practice any of the languages I speak - you might think Americans just suck at languages, but when you're an American travelling and everyone else is already fluent in English, getting good at languages is really hard!
I can also teach French and Spanish and German... and some guitar, but I'd also love to learn more guitar. Jamming masters - teach me tricks about scales and soloing and blues guitar!
