ABOUT ME

I'm a down to earth person; a lover of nature and all animals, a WWOOFer, and a cooker of delicious foods. Life is what it is and I make the best of it- I'm an independent girl and have learned to follow my dreams. I've already skipped around Europe (ask me about it!) nannied in Spain, driven across America and back, camped in Assisi, zip-lined in Costa Rica, driven around the circumference of Ireland, and travelled to Germany, Czech Republic, and Amsterdam! I completed an internship with wolves in Wolf Park, which was so incredible and life-changing. I am getting my Master's degree in Sociology, studying therapy animals, and am currently working as a server. Let's talk about your favorite book, let me cuddle your dog or cat, or cook something together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed at various houses of friends, and friends of friends. I have surfed in Utrecht, Munich, Prague and Berlin! All experiences were exceptional, I very safe and had a great time. I imagine that when open-minded people let others stay in their home, it is to be treated with respect and care, and I plan to do so! I am welcome to host in my home of Roanoke, Virginia, when I am there. I currently reside in Portland, Oregon.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once, my best friend, her friend and I went to a music show in VA. It was out in a huge field, everyone glowing, dancing, laughing. Unbeknownst to us, a storm cloud loomed overhead- downpour! Imagine 2 or 3,000 people trying, tripping, crying through muddy (knee-deep!) fields. In the morning, not having slept, I awoke to the sound of tires squealing...I helped for three hours physically push cars out of the mud, getting splattered in the process. Somehow cheerful from all the excitement, I drove the four hours back home, smiling the whole time at how incredible the very experience was. Unforgettable. I have a picture of me, covered head to toe in mud, grinning next to my mud- covered Jeep.

I could share my knowledge of how to cook delicious foods vegetarian and otherwise, dog training; specifically rescued dogs, various animal facts, aerial dancing/yoga/tai chi moves, travel tips, book recommendations...

I'd love to have someone help me pursue my knowledge of languages; I lived half a year in Granada, Spain and know conversational Spanish and nouns pretty well...and I know a smidge of French and a tiny speck of Russian, both of which I really want to learn more. I also hope to learn Japanese and Swedish someday.
