Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the ultimate "would you rather" question.
ABOUT ME
I sort-of recently graduated from a university in Worcester, MA. I studied Psychology and Jewish Studies formally, but also maintain interest in LGBTQIA topics and the intersection between religion and gender. I have now returned home to work as the director of Southern Maine Hillel and as a crossing guard for the public school system while volunteering as a teacher for my synagogue (in both adult education and for 6th graders). I am so pumped to travel to new places and to meet new folks!
PHILOSOPHY
That compassion and understanding are absolutely essential.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Traveling to California with my buddy / neighbor, Dylan. We had a super swell time staying with really sweet folks from CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Jonathan Ames and Maira Kalman are my two favorite authors for very different reasons.
Movies: School of Rock, Wizard People Dear Reader, and basically any horror film.
Music: Porcupine Tree, Marina and the Diamonds, Beyonce, They Might Be Giants.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Meeting George Romero, whose glasses were nearly as epic as his impact on zombie movie history.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in women's and gender studies, specifically their intersection with Judaism (& I would love to learn more about other religions!)
I have cat tarot cards and I will happily read your future. I also have some pretty good (stupid) pick-up lines to share.
