Hello, we are Marieke and Sjoerd. We left the Netherlands more than 8 months ago to wander around. We've seen many beautiful places and met a lot of nice people from all over the world! Dancing is our passion and we love to share stories with people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we are traveling we currently don't have a couch ourselves. We participate now in trying to give our host an excellent time...! When back in Holland be sure to sleep on our Couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have quite some experience now. Last may we joined a CS trip in Jordan where we met a lot of other CS'ers. We made new friends. They taught us a little Arabic and showed us the pearls of Jordan. We had so much fun together! After the trip we arranged a Dutch party, including a Dutch meal!

Other cultures, learn how people live their lives. Dancing (salsa), photography (we try to), internet, reading, sailing and diving.

Into the wild, Thievery Corporation, most art-house movies, we read too little...

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Last November we dived in Sipadan (Sabah, Borneo). It was amazing!! Like being in an real aquarium; sharks, turtles and many many beautiful fishes were all over the place. We even saw a big eagle ray! If you like diving and get the chance... you must go there!!

Sjoerd knows lots about computers and internet and is sailing instructor, Marieke can always help you with grammar of the Dutch language or make fun with children.
