Moved in Gozo mid 2018 where i work on my own as an independent game developer, from home with my feline companion Diepluplusse.
I work on a game about Pigs building a civilization from the stone age.

I don't try to schedule a trip trying to fit in all the "must see" places of it. I like to minimize the hassle of organizing, booking, commuting as much as possible and the constraints of having to constantly meet deadlines to catch planes and trains and hotels.
There's already every day life for all of that. So i like to travel with as little plans as possible, day to day, and to just let more or less luck decide what happens. Its a pretty nice feeling of freedom.
I'm pretty introvert in my everyday life, so travelling out is an occasion to get into a different mindset for a limited amount of time. Doing unexpected things and encounters.

When i travel, i have this weird thing where what i look for is not the most extraordinary places on a country, but rather the opposite. I like to look for the most normal and average places to try get an idea of how every day life would feels like there.
I'm happy just visiting random streets of no particular interest in a city for hours.
One thing i like to do is to visit a random generic supermarket and see what things you find there. You can tell a lot about a country just by looking at the people there and the products available!

I'm a nerd about series, history, sciences, strategy games and games development in general. I want to buy a large terrain and make learn to make a self sustaining house in it someday. I just need Starlink's project of worldwide internet for that!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I'm not really looking for accommodation, but rather for the opportunity to meet neat people to hang out with. Having a nice talk around a beer during an evening or a coffee during an afternoon!
