I am a musician from France and I had the chance to study, work and live in England Germany Canada and France.
I work in the field of classical music, mainly as a conductor, though I also play double bass. I live in Paris, but I spend a lot of time in London and Salzburg as well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people, have an insider's view on cities I visit (unlike some classical musicians, I try to make the most of the places I go to!) and to practice my languages!
Also, Couchsurfing as a rare opportunity for me to meet "normal people", as in non musicians!

Interests

Apart from music (not only classical music! I also enjoy Indie Rock, Jazz, and to a certain extent electronic music) I am very interested in litterature, cinema, history and society in general.
Less poetically, I am a football and tennis fan, and I like going to pubs (or local equivalent) :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like sharing my life as a musician, which people always seem to be curious about, and I am always interested in stories of people working in other fields!
I often travel for concerts and I can most of the time offer free tickets to my hosts!
Also I guess I'm good to practice languages, having grown up with two languages, I find it rather easy to switch from one to the other!
