My girlfriend and I left our jobs in England, 7 months ago now, to travel around the world for a year (June 2019/2020). We have travelled through South America for about 3 months, then went to French Polynesia, followed by our first stop in Asia, Japan. After that, we travelled to Nepal and India. We are now in Myanmar and until beginning February. We will be then flying to Vietnam in order to spend more than a month there.

We would like to meet people, local and travelers, by sleeping over, sharing the same hostel, organising activities together or just having a drink. We will be happy to share our travelling experience, knowledge in science as well as our passion for photography.

Mon amie, et moi avons quitté, en Mai 2019, nos jobs, logements et amis en Angleterre ou nous avons passés les 5 dernières années. Pendant 2 ans, nous avons rêvé et préparé un long voyage qui nous tenait beaucoup à cœur.

Nous y sommes maintenant, nous avons pris la route il y a déjà 7 mois, en commençant par l'Amérique du sud, avant de rejoindre l'Asie avec un arrêt en chemin, en Polynésie Française. Nous finissons notre séjour au Myanmar avant de rejoindre le Vietnam début Février.

Nous sommes passionnés de photo, voyage ainsi que de randonnée/trek surtout depuis que nous avons fait le W trek au Chili en 2016 en totale autonomie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We had in mind for quite some time to start our Couchsurfing experience but never really took the time to launch it. We finally decided to give it a go with our one year trip around the world.

During our previous travels, we have often been running around going from one place to another, to see as much as possible, but without taking much time to enjoy simple moments and discuss we people we meet along the way.

We realise that our best memories come from moments we shared with others abroad or at our place. We would like couchsurfing to be part of our travels during the next 12 months in every country to make those moments unforgettable.
