About Me
I'm your average student who likes to hang out with friends (or chill on a couch when sensing a bad day ahead).
I tend to feel awkward around people I don't know, but going abroad and giving up on what I know is exactly what I'm looking for. (Fighting fire with fire, some would say!)
I'm fed up with the life I've led so far, and I know that moving around to learn to get by "on my own" will result in valuable knowledge to deal with life later on. I don't know where I'm going with my studies, but I know that other countries and cultures may hold the keys to new perspectives that could expand my boundaries and help me find my way/place.
Most of the things I do involve English one way or another, and I've always been attracted to foreign cultures. I'm mostly level-headed, and, although living a peaceful and regular life resulted in me not being able to handle some situations, I have the capacities to understand what's around me and how things work.
I just need a little something that sparks my interest to become as talkative and open as a lifelong friend of yours. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to go to various places, but I don't know where/when/how/why/for how long. As is, there are already enough things to figure out when preparing to travel, so, even if it's a temporary solution, I would be more than happy to spend a few days with someone who's willing to meet new people.
Not knowing what's next seems less freightening when you know you can count on someone who's living "there". I believe that the first days you spend somewhere are crucial. Spending these days with a kind and understanding person can make the difference between a failed trip and a massive success.
This is why I rely on Couchsurfing.
Interests
Whoever you are, don't fear our differences, it's what makes it all worth the time and efforts we put in this project. Besides, what are we going to talk about when I arrive if there is nothing left to say? :)
- modeling
- gardening
- traveling
Teach, Learn, Share
I can quickly grow tired of an area of work. This led me to learn loads of "basics" in different areas. From 3D modeling to gardening through linguistics, I'm sure there is something I can teach you.
And I'm sure the other way around is also true!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whatever you want, as long as we both feel comfortable about what we share.
