About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Everything for now is about improving self culture, and learning.
ABOUT ME
I am Thibault, a 24 year old engineer student. I am what you can a new traveller, as I did not travel a lot for all those young years, but I'm starting to travel more more, and discovering new cultures still amazes me more and more. I've moved to some places in Europe, such as Poland, I spent three monthes in Spain, or I went to see the Sierra mountains in Ecuador.
PHILOSOPHY
Carpe Diem. Just enjoy your time as it is limited.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing meets exactly my needs : it brings people to meet across the world, and to speak with people, -either fascinated by traveling, or locals that can share and teach much more about their own culture than a book.
Couchsurfing is an amazing place, as it can bring very valuable and unique experiences.
Interests
I have an engineer background, and I studied in several fields. I've always been curious about new technologies and I always try to be aware about what is new everyday about those new technologies and multimedia.
One of my big interests goes into music. I won't say I'm really good at playing, as I don't have much education on this field, but I try to get the most joy from it. That makes me a -not so good- guitar player, but I'd say I'm really good at listening to it. I get a lot of emotion from music, as I turn myself sometimes to a concert crawler, as I get a lot to concerts, big or not.
I also enjoy a lot practicing some sports, I grew up practicing fencing, and I always enjoy doing some assaults. I also run, as I try to score at half-marathon. I also love alpin skiing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'd say my main music love is old rock, and rockabilly. always enjoy bringing back old rolling stones, songs, listening to Led Zeppelin, or going through the stray cats discography.
About reading, I'd say I'm lucky to be french as french literature is really wide, and have a lot of powerful texts. I always try to keep a book in my bag, as a good book is really useful to keep your mind working. I love going through Albert Camus and Boris Vian literature, I discovered this year Kundera as he gives with the lot of style his very own definition of love.
I want to say I see movies as entertainment. I really enjoy going out and seeing some actions in blockbusters. It is definitely super fun. I also always spent enjoyable time watching some Tarantino's movies, or going through more psychological movies, like ones from Kubrick or Terry Gilliam.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked a full semester in a project aiming at improving agriculture in an indigenous quechua village in Ecuador. I spent only two weeks there, this is not very long, but I'd say sharing with people that have a totally different vision of the world is a life-changer, as it brings to think with more philosophy.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything is in the title. The best way to teach and learn ? Well, share !
Everything in the world is about sharing, and I always wanted to learn from people, and, in my opinion, the best way to teach to people is to learn from people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share about knowledge, debate about culture, also give destination of France about where to go, as I went to a lot of places in my country.
But i think the best I can share, is just experiences with hosts.
