ABOUT ME
Since I can't seem to login my old account, let's start fresh!
I am a 26 y.o french guianese from spanish parents who loves to travel the world and discover new cultures. I have been lucky enough to live in Brasil before and now I am settled, for the time being, in beautiful Paris where I work in politics. I am what they would call in the US a "legislative staff" which I love and allows me to travel back and forth between Paris and my native french Guiana. I am also Vice-mayor of my homtown, which I also love, it is a way for me to contribute to the community and really participate in the future of the city I grew up in.
Throughout the past few years I got to discover Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Suriname, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, Germany, Morroco, Reunion Island, Turkey, Qatar, China, The Czech Republic, Netherlands. And I sure hope this is just the beginning of a growing list of places to wander.
As I graduated from an international school, did a year as an erasmus student and was a tutor for exchange students through university, I always tried to be surrounded by people from about anywhere.
Now that the college years are behind me I count on couchsurfing to help me meet new people, have them discover Paris and luckily enough travel the world and see new places through local eyes. Finger crossed.
PHILOSOPHY
I always keep in mind this saying from french author Paul Valéry; "enrichissons nous de nos différences" which basically means that our differences are what makes us stronger/richer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a one bedroom appartment in Gambetta, a cosy neighborhood in downton Paris. There is one big sofa in the living room that turns into a bed which can easily fit 2 people.
I regularly host friends since spare couchs are not that common in expensive Paris but even then I am happy to guide you through the French capital and help you find cool and cheap places only the locals know about (or so they like to think)

Interests
Travels travels travels :) and food! All kind of ;) I'm also really involved with politics but that can be quiet boring. In France we always say that 2 subjects are prohibited at diner parties and family gatherings: religion and politics.
