I think stay with locals is the best way to know a country because a country is not only made of its landscapes and its cultural treasures, but most especially of its inhabitants...
I also love the Idea to be a member of an international and friendly community.

Movies : There so many very good movies like pulp fiction, fight club, cassablanca, boyhood, philadelphia ... and more :)

Books : I am a fan of Sean Murphy with comics (Punk Rock Jesus, the road, the wake ! DMZ, Blast, Transmetropolitan, XIII and Blake and Mortimer.
There are also some book of poetry and crime novel.

Music : Gorillaz, Eminem, Daft punk, AOTP but I enjoy of remix of pop, classic and more :)
