About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is just to enjoy what I'm doing. Simple as that!

ABOUT ME

Canadian originally from Cambodia. I used to live in Honduras. I am now in London, UK.
Adventurous, sporty, social, always on the go, sometimes a little bit of a geek. Loves to talk and eat. A little bit of a shoe addict!

PHILOSOPHY

No expectations, no disappointment.

Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving. (Albert Einstein)

"Le moyen le plus efficace de rendre les pauvres innofensifs est de leur apprendre à vouloir imiter les riches". Extrait de L'ombre du vent de Carlos Ruiz Zafon

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was living in Honduras, I had many people visit. It was fun! And I met great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted more than I surfed. I have met lots of people who have participated. I also met people who stayed with friends through CouchSurfing.

Interests

I love connecting with people and learning from them. I really enjoy a good book, good music and good food (did I mention that I love to eat?!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Love indie bands. Love every kind of music (ok, I'm not a huge country fan, I admit). Big geek when it comes to awards seasons for films. Currently, my night stand has a few copies of National Geographic, To Kill a Mocking Bird, Destruction Massive-Géopolitique de la faim by Jean Ziegler and Prision Verde by Ramon Amaya Amador. Very random! Did I mention I was a geek?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many come to mind...Releasing baby turtles in the sea, on the coast of El Salvador. Being in the desert for the first time in the North of Burkina Faso. Living in Honduras right now is a pretty wild experience as well! we'll have to chat about it over beer! (or wine, coffee, tea, whatever makes you happy)

Teach, Learn, Share

Love to learn different languages. Love to exchange on books and music.
I love to learn about different foods and perhaps I can teach a few recipes. I am especially good at eating. It's a very complex science but I'm ready to take the time and teach people how it's done (I'm really generous that way!)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, China, El Salvador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Indonesia, Japan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Burkina Faso, Canada, England, Honduras, Netherlands
