Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a friend that referred me to this community as he used it to couch surf for the summer. I'm looking to get away from the Chicago winters and putting myself into different situations where I can learn more people's stories and share the love. Learning how the couch surfing lifestyle works would be amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've recently raised over $20,000 for my friend's family when their father recently passed. They have two children in wheelchairs and their father was their primary caretaker. The money was to help with the funeral costs and providing relief for them until they find another caretaker.
