Just a guy from Australia, looking to travel a lot more and experience new cultures. As you can see I haven't done a whole heap of travelling aside from Australia, and would love to change that. I'm very open minded, easygoing and would love to just have a chat with anyone that's down for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I basically live for music. I love to write and play music, guitar and singing mainly but I will happily give anything a go. Usually I listen to artists that are inspiring me to write, but seriously anything as long as it doesn't stray too far into metal. Pretty into a lot of Australian indie stuff, but then depending on my mood I'll range from a bit of 60's and 70's rock or funk through to indie, soul, hip hop, blues, even some jazz if I feel adventurous.

Books, well I try to read a bit of philosophy every now and then, but I don't mind a bit of Hunter S. Thompson, The Rum Diary is probably my favourite of his.

Movies? Favourite is probably The Big Short or Good Will Hunting, maybe Kill Bill, but for someone that used to work at a cinema for quite a while, I'm definitely well below par in movie education. Name it and I probably haven't seen it, so if you have any suggestions...?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last part of my degree involved staying on Heron Island (very southern Great Barrier Reef) for a week and it was the most beautiful, pristine place I have ever seen. I would be happy sitting on the jetty there for the rest of my life and watching the sharks, fish and rays swim about beneath (and obviously swim in there with them too).

Teach, Learn, Share

Anything to do with music or the ocean would be a pleasure to both teach or learn about, I am very very passionate about these.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to be able to share my stories, life and knowledge with any potential hosts, I can definitely offer to shout a few drinks and just be an honest, open and adventurous personality.
