About Me
Hey there,
Welcome on my profile :). Great that you are interested in staying with me and my roommates in Amsterdam. Be sure to read the text below, for you to get to know us and how to request a stay.
We live with the three of us, enjoying living together by regularly having dinner together and sometimes go out to the cinema or an other cultural event. We live in a nice and cosy place near Oosterpark, which is a really great location close to the citycenter.
About us:
Thijs loves to do race cycling and is very much into meditation, which he practises on a daily basis. He sometimes joins the climate activists in protests and is considered the hippie of the group! He is working as a strategy consultant for governments, in short, doing data analysis on societal problems.
Fuuk (She/her) loves to play games, expecially cardgames, she is good at bridge. She is amazing at playing piano and is the most sociable of us, often hanging out with friends. Fuuk has a strong opinion on (social) justice, so make sure to get her talking about wokeness or refugees!
Wouter (he/him) is the outdoor guy of the house, he is really into climbing. He is also very much concerned about climate change and works for a non-profit to get better education about this topic in schools. Wouter likes to play chess, so be sure to challange him on that!
One could summarize that we are progressive/left-ish oriented, trying to live in an earth-friendly lifestyle, trying to enjoy life and make the world a better place. We usually eat vegan dinner at home.
Extra instructions on how to request a stay:
We would like to get to know you a little, before we accept your request. For that we ask you, next to requesting trough this platform, to send a voice message to me (0031644960742) on either Whatsapp or Telegram. Please tell us in one minute what your trip is about and why you would like to stay with us. No need to write any text with the request on this platform, the voice message suffices. Our schedules tend to be rather busy, so we are not able to accept every good request.
