ABOUT ME

Well it isn't that easy saying something about myself, but what the heck lets give it a shot. My name is Thijs Smit. My firstname is a typical, unpronounceable, Dutch name. Since my childhood I travelled a lot; born in New Zeeland, lived in Iceland and after high school backpacking really got in to me :-) I try to be a friendly, open, honest and funny person ... and I try not to be unfriendly, greedy and disrespectful.

Achieving freedom in the broadest sense is probably the only goal in life ...

Although it's a big cliché it isn't less true. Developing more cross-national and cross-cultural friendships truly makes the world a less tensed and friendlier place to live in. For that reason I think the whole CS project is really helping the world community ... let all play a part in it :-)
