ABOUT ME

Borrowed from my Letter of Introduction

My name is Timmy Kjellqvist. I’m 20 years old in April 2007, and live in Båstad, Skåne, with my parents and two younger brothers. I recently graduated from my science education, and now dedicated my time to working and my hobbies. Come Mondays, I’m hosting an amateur radio show, and despite “only” circa 40 listeners each week, it’s my greatest hobby! I have previously trained martial arts, played golf and also tennis, Båstad’s “national” sport. When I’m sitting at a computer, I’m mostly working with text and design, but I’m also something of an author, and keep secret dreams about getting a novel published one fair day. Another note of interest is that I can play the flute, albeit no one seems to agree.

I’m a positive, bright and social guy with great ambitions and an active mind. As far as I can remember I’ve been talking and walking my way through the world, and my greatest strengths lie in communication and focusing. I’m seldom satisfied with simply “doing” something, and always aspire to improve. Be it heavy duty or desk service, I do my best at all times, and I’m not afraid to dig in and walk the extra mile with a smile. I like a challenge, and have been taught to know that you grow with your duties. As for being on time and following directives, those are given, and bad weather is to me merely an illusion brought on by poor choice of clothes!

Travel is my great passion. My home town is a “summer town”, bustling with life during the annual tennis tournaments, and it’s just as desolate during the winter. This fact encourages me to travel as often as I possibly can, alone or with friends (you always find friends wherever you go!) to festivals, concerts or simply another town with other people.

I’m fluent in English, written and spoken, and I’ve accomplished the demands of the Cambridge CS1 certificate A-grade. I speak an acceptable French, and I’m quite intuitive with languages, and put great importance to fitting in wherever necessary, be it in the supermarket or on the links.
