Overview
About Me
I moved to Konstanz to study chemistry at the university. And I really don't know what else to put here, you can find the rest you need to know in the rest of the profile. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My girlfriend was on a bike-tour through scandinavia over the summer and told me of her amazing experiences with couchsurfing.
Interests
In summer, I enjoy cycling in the region of my hometown after work a lot.
I just like to get my mind free of everything then, power out and enjoy the countryside.
Since I was a little child, I am fascinated by fish of different regions of the earth.
That's why I've been maintaining several aquariums with different fish. Most of all, I like fish from lake Tanganjika, which is why one of my biggest dreams is going there to see them in their natural environment.

Music, Movies, and Books
First of all, I have to mention my love to heavy metal in most of it's varieties here. Going on metal-concerts and festivals (of which there are plenty here in Germany) is one of my major hobbies.
When it comes to movies I like to watch fantasy-movies as well as action-movies and even nature-documentations. My favourite serial was Breaking Bad, but I also like watching series like The Simpsons, Familiy Guy, Orange Is The New Black and - of course Game of Thrones.
I must admit that I am not reading that much so that when I am starting a new book, it sometimes takes up to a year until I have finished it. That's why the last three years you only could find books of the Song of Ice and Fire - series on my bedside-table, an the moment I'm reading the Kingkiller Chronicles..
One of my favourite book - series still is the Lord of the Rings with all it's surrounding tales.
When I'm not reading fantasy-books (which is not that often) I enjoy reading science-related literature like books of Dawkins and Hawking.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to Northern Norway in winter and spending New Year's Eve on Senja might still be one of the most rememberable things for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you around in the town when I have the time, talk with you about a lot of things like culture, sciene and politics. I like to learn new things about different countries and cultures.
