Hmmm.... patient with others, impatient with myself; light-hearted and silly; interested in growing and understanding what I don't; amazed at how food comes to be food, or really, how anything comes to be anything; sometimes forgetful and air-headed; sometimes too direct and tactless; a warm and welcoming hostess and a gracious, repectful guest.

PHILOSOPHY

I generally try to keep my mind open to new things/ways, including the truth that everything is temporary.

I offer my home and hospitality to surfers; when I am traveling I will offer my experiences, skills, labor, and human company.

reading, writing, cooking, bicycling and not getting flat tires, bouldering and rock climbing!, hiking and backpacking!, cooking (mostly vegan food), cats, learning and utilizing different languages, learning about different religious/spiritual perspectives, fresh air, trees and plants of all types, blueberries, running, sunshine, snow, watching spawning salmon, smelling rotting salmon on the creek banks...and dogs that don't smell, don't bark, don't drool, don't jump on me, don't pant, don't shed on me, ..dogs that are like cats, basically.
