Country girl from the middle of nowhere, yet also the most beautiful place on earth. (Montana) I found myself in Portugal several years ago and never looked back, just forward. After all, it's the only direction to go!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting/Surfing. It's been incredible meeting people from all around the globe and sharing a bit of our world with others. We're easy going and don't make any weird demands on our surfers, just please sit down for at least one conversation and replace the bread if you eat it all. :) Mainly we're just looking to help and be helped by fellow travellers who are genuine and share the common goal of making this life as interesting as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since February 2013, we've hosted tons of people and I'd definitely give the experience a 10 out of 10. I've also done a bit of surfing of my own and had the chance to make some lifelong friends.

Interests

Being a mom, language, nature, making music, rocking my socks off, travelling, making conversation, good beer, snowboarding, and above all, remembering to enjoy each and every minute of this crazy old life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm an avid snowboarder. Once during a severe windstorm I watched my best friend actually get BLOWN off the chairlift! (This was in 1996 at a local mountain so the chairlifts were shall we say, a bit rudimentary) Amazing and terrifying at the same time. Best part about it, she was totally fine!

Most recent amazing thing I've done? Had a baby!!! Now that really is the most amazing thing a person can do. :) Oh, and you'll need to mention her in your request for us to accept.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation, a decent meal or two and warm company! If you like to dance, you can count on us always being down for a boogie! Enjoying life is very high on the list of priorities.

(Any sort of domestic upkeep goes without saying, I think. Hosts can assume there will be help with dishes and keeping things tidy. Your house/rules and above all, you, will be highly respected)
