About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Paving the best pathway possible for a long, healthy, happy, vibrant life for my son, Kalsang-Hayden.
ABOUT ME
Hi there!
I graduated with a double major in Intercultural Relations (with an emphasis in Middle Eastern studies) and Dance as Healing and Performance from Prescott College in Northern Arizona. I studied lots of dance and theater in college. I've toured professionally as a dancer/actor in several companies world wide including in the USA, Colombia, and Japan. I love to travel and to experience directly. I am into studying spirituality and esoteric philosophies. I am a certified yoga teacher and practitioner. I love to read. I think Haruki Murakami, Hermann Hesse, and Chuck Palahniuk are fantastic writers and could binge on them for days. I've chased around the fantasy of going to film school for years. When film is done correctly the experience of watching is transcendental. David Lynch, Todd Solondz, and Quentin Tarantino do film correctly.
I love to climb mountains and ride bikes long distances. I was big into outdoor rock climbing when I lived in Arizona, and am missin' on it hard. I'll seriously try anything once, and probably twice.
The happiness times in my life have been the long periods in which I have gone without being surrounded by mirrors. Vacationing from the ego is necessary.
I am bound for a life of globe trotting; wandering passionately & intentionally into the arms of known temporary connections, into & out of love at first sight, into & out of the best conversations had, sensory stimulation, aroma that one can not bottle. The thing that makes me different from most is the vast inner world I have, an inner world concerned with, of all things, liberation.
I am married to a wonderful Tibetan man, Phuntsok, which whom I met & married in Northern India. We have a beautiful 8-month baby boy, Kalsang, the happiest, chunkiest baby you could ever hope to meet!
PHILOSOPHY
Whatever's in my subconscious is there. I am not going to play fool about it. My whole waking nature tells me that this sort of thing is not in my line. It drums in my nature, telling me, until I begin to suspect its motive . I shan't worry my pretty little head about it anymore. I shall let my neurosis dissolve in the white fire of action, as it were. All I want is clear air in which to breathe and there is none because everybody's full of hot air.
