About Me

My nickname is Keem. A graduated student from faculty of Sociology and Anthropology major in Social Research at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason is simply because I want to connect with local people in each places.

But the story behind is quite long...

Couch surfing
From the article to the reality

I heard about Couchsurfing fist time in English lesson when I was exchange student in Finland. What I remember is free accommodation and also foods !!

We might heard that " There are no free things exist in this world" but who know !

Later on when I was in university, some of my friends did Couchsurfing so I started to think about it again.

Then I decided to write a paper about Couchsurfing for my Travelling lesson. It was the first time I interviewed the case study in English and got to know more about Couchsurfing experiences both from host and guest perspective.

"Stay with stranger : the new option for traveller" was the title for my article. The propose was to help young travelers who want to explore the world with limited budget can reach their goal.

From then until now... I became Couch Surfer :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I not listen much music but I love movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 18 I volunteer in Nepal for 2 months. The project was about teaching English in very rural area for 5 weeks. I lived with local people and learn basic life skills where I can't ask for any facilities but at the end I survived ! It was my first time tracking at Annapurna Base Camp with small backpack and no experiences at all but with help from new friends I completed the route. Those were the biggest learning point how to live.
