ABOUT ME

I'm a final stage PhD candidate studying sociology of embodiment. I'm interested in more and better sensory experience. I love food, contemporary dance/performance, music, and engaging conversation. I practice Reiki, and movement and awareness work (e.g., Alexander Technique, Kinetic Awareness). I've lived in many different situations and am a good judge of character. I'm interested in people who are interested in experience, who are passionate, who value learning and knowledge.

Generally, I like to dance, consume delicious food, and converse with interesting people. These are the sorts of experiencing I'm generally looking for in the new places I visit.

I'm inspired by people, so when I witness people open, grow, and change I think it is pretty amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

At University I teach courses in cultural studies and sociology. I do work that is geared toward bodily awareness and patterns of movement; this often means pain and stress relief, finding the breath. I am also a Reiki Master and happy to practice with people who are open to it.
