About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Take photos, write, eat, dream, go anywhere, meet anyone, do anything. Fight boredom!
ABOUT ME
I'm Jen, a photo editor currently based in New York with my kitten named Gonzo. I break a lot of rules and push a lot of boundaries. It almost always ends in something magnificent.
I crave adventure. I like to learn things. I'm fascinated by people. I'll eat almost anything and I'll go almost anywhere.
PHILOSOPHY
It overwhelms me to think about the number of awesome people in the world whom I will never get to meet and share part of my life story with before I die.
I move from person to person, project to project, experience to experience, trying to live awesomely and intensely, learn, understand, love, capture, and savour it all through a lens and on paper, but mostly in my brain. Here and there, I cross my fingers and hope that certain places will feel right, and certain people will want to linger in my life story for a bit longer, and I in theirs. For now, I've found comfort in never being too comfortable.
If I have one lifelong project, it's about people, their stories, and how my own story intersects with theirs. And you're invited to partake.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, surfing, and sometimes, even hurfing. But don't worry, I'm not contagious.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've hurfed, officially and unofficially, in Aarhus (host and surfer), Berlin (surfer), Lisbon (surfer), Pamplona (surfer), Copenhagen (host and surfer), Bucharest (surfer), and New York (surfer). All of my experiences have been amazing and beautiful in so many different ways. I get the feeling that I'm far from done here.
