Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn, to explore, and to enjoy the foods we all enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I'm a rover, more comfortable with the wind in my sails than solid ground under my feet. I enjoy traveling, and meeting new people.
Most of the time I'm either working or exploring, being active online, or touring with travel bloggers. I'm a techie, a nerd, a geek, and passionate about taking pictures.
PHILOSOPHY
Eat, drink, and keep your friends happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to help people traveling through the towns find other like minded people, explore nooks not on the map, and get out of their rooms to discover beautiful places.
When I'm on the East Coast, I encourage people to message me and stay with me in Fredericton, and when I'm in Ontario, come visit me just outside Niagara Falls for coffee, or a place to stay.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have a little home on the East Coast that people are welcome to stay in when I'm in the city, and I've met a few surfers while they're passing through town.
Interests
I've spent a lot of time traveling in the US, Canada, and the UK. One of my favourite things to do with fellow travellers is simply pick them up at their residence and wander the streets in search of their favourite treats.
Looking for the best coffee in Hamilton? A lemon tart in Toronto? How about a chocolate croissant that'll melt in your mouth while in Ottawa?

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a sucker for old movies in general, but my favourite by far is Indiana Jones, the Goonies, and classic British war flicks. I've been known to binge watch entire Netflix series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I've seen or done while traveling was to eat fresh pecans in NOLA, but that comes a close second to drinking scrumpy in the West of England, or enjoying a U2 concert in Montreal with 30,000 of my closest friends.
Zip lining in Port Dover, sailing in Toronto, camping in Nova Scotia, there are far too many wonderful things to pick just one.
Teach, Learn, Share
When I was four, my father gave me the best advice I've ever received. He said to me, "son, never piss into the wind."
Countries I’ve Visited
Cuba, Ireland, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States
