Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate on the most basic level, I guess. I try and supply a couch when I can, and I try and occupy vacant couches. I like to think I bring a much needed rationality and sense of humor to the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted three people while I lived and studied in London. I have never actually couch surfed before. I know people who have, and some of my close friends have as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went scuba-diving with 5 Bull sharks about 140 feet under the Gulf of Mexico.

This one time, I snorted spaghetti up my nose and out my mouth.

I have driven a car off the side of a cliff and lived to tell the story.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you pretty much anything and everything. Many random and unnecessary facts reside in my head. They pop up when needed, and remain dormant for the rest of the time. Here are some examples of things I can teach you how to do:

Play the drums, recite Shakespeare, fly a model airplane, build a rocket, drive a car with a manual transmission, build a patio, hardwood floor a room, setup and fix your computer (Mac or PC), dye hair, do "the worm", bake, grill, cook, fold a paper crane, and juggle a chinese yo-yo.
