To do a swing-out on every continent! And to meet as many awesome people as I can doing it.

ABOUT ME

My current interests are, in no particular order: International conflict resolution and peace studies (I want to get a masters in this field). Working with youth, specifically on youth empowerment and social justice issues. Social dance, specifically blues/fusion and lindy hop, but really any kind of dance is awesome.

I'm am also a huge geek. (Or nerd or dork.) I geek out about everything. Games, people, science, politics, life, I can talk about any of it as long as there are people are willing to geek out with me.

And I like people.I enjoy getting to know new people and learning how their mind works. Making new friends is one of my all time favorite things to do.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just graduated and instead of having a party of going to the graduation ceremony, I'm going on a road trip. Or, as I like to tell my friends: I'm driving to Oregon via New Orleans and Chicago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted small number of people and surfed in Istanbul, Paris and Portland, OR.

Storytelling. Games of any kind. Dancing, especially swing, blues and fusion. Long road trips, alone or with friends. Learning new things. Sunrises. Sunsets. Meeting new people.

I'm a huge sci-fi fan. I read so much sci-fi I'm probably just absorbing it through my pores these days.

On the music front, I enjoy listening to just about everything. But if it has a dance beat I know I'll like it.

Also, a lot of techno these days. And dubstep. But only the good stuff.

Watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean from the shore of San Francisco's Ocean Beach.

Dancing on the roof of a hotel in Istanbul, looking out over the city lights.

Watching the sun rise over Masada in Israel, even though I was having a really crappy morning.

教，学，和分享

I can teach anyone how to social dance. Give me an hour and I can have a room full of people swinging to the beat. I love teaching people to blues and lindy hop.

I also know a huge number of games. Card games, board games, role-playing games, party games. I love playing games and I love teaching them even more.
