CURRENT MISSION
Starting my first real job after the PhD
ABOUT ME
I'm a friendly, outgoing, travel-interested long-time student - like most couchsurfers :-). I love to see and grok new places and people, to try to keep an open mind, and to have a nice and relaxed time.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is all about at defining you and your relations to other people. I'm a Stoic at heart - trying to live a good life, improving the things that I truly own. Which are my thoughts, my feelings, my outlook on life, and the place I have in the heart of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to host people where possible and organize events where necessary. Unfortunately, my time constraints haven't allowed me to do much hosting so far since every weekend brings new and long-planned fun away from home, but I'll hope this will change soon.
Interests
Having been a geek for quite some time, I have a passion for the sciences from sociology to maths. On the other hand, I also love the sensory experiences - good food, nature, a pint and a nice sunset.

Music, Movies, and Books
Loved the first books of the Wheel of Time, the Neuromancer and Conan. Errol Flynn movies and Beethoven music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the greatest moments of my travels was the time I spent the night on the meadows outside of Delphi. This place is a hive overrun by too many people in the daytime, but has a wonderful atmosphere in the evening. When the last bus has left, you can feel the oracle, you can feel the wisdom.
Teach, Learn, Share
