About Me
CURRENT MISSION
let life happen
ABOUT ME
My passion is language and I am currently seeking a path as a language professional. Whatever type of work I do in the future, my ultimate goal is to do work that improves communities and is positive for the people around me. I am open to experimenting with new ideas everyday.
Mostly I'm a calm, flexible person. I love travel because it reminds me that everything I know is just cultural----is just a product of my environment, and everyone around the world lives by different ideas. So I am excited to hear about those different thoughts. All in all I'm positive and cooperative.
PHILOSOPHY
You know better than I. You really do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So many wonderful people have helped me through CouchSurfing. I am traveling now, but once I have a couch to give I really want to host as many people as possible! I hope that my future couch is used every night by a traveler in need, because this community has helped me so much...and really exposed me to a lot of new ideas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Music, Movies, and Books
If I could only have three authors, I would survive very well with:
Chuang-Tzu
Plato
Henry David Thoreau
If I could bring a bit more, then I would probably take:
Theodor Adorno
Franz Kafka
Isaac Asimov
Walter Benjamin
All films by Werner Herzog
Books of photographs I have never seen before
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eli's hill. Line-pipe change.
Many small moments.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not sure what I can teach, but I'm sure there must be ways I can help others. For example, I tend to eat slowly. I'm good at walking, but not running (especially on sand)..but would be open to trying more seriously.
What do I want to do? Teach me anything and I will listen!
I want to learn tie useful knots.
I want to learn better German.
I want to learn how to survive as a freelance translator.
