CURRENT MISSION

In 2017, I decided I wanted to find a home outside the US. Plans got put on hold 2018-2021 (pandemic & other) so 2022 and 2023 have been focused on choosing a location and testing out life in those locations. In 2022, I spent several successful months in Mexico City. In 2023, I will return to Andalucia for a test run and maybe explore a couple of other European options. I am also hoping to spend a month in France to finally achieve my goal of learning some French. Beyond all that, I strive to continue experiencing new places and cultures.

I haven’t been able to host much because of the pandemic and my own travel plans, but I look forward to doing so again once I am settled.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really appreciate the intent behind couchsurfing. I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and my favorite thing about travel is meeting locals and doing local things. My few experiences with couchsurfing have been terrific.
