ABOUT ME

Hey !

My name is Theo,

I'm a 30 years old french boy. I love to travel, discover countries and culture and meet new people. I already spent 1 year in Mexico, i was student there and working in an NGO which care about Indigeneous people. It has been an amazing year.

After that i spent 1 year doing internship in a french NGO in Paris (ACF). And i took 1 year off in my study to discover Australia and improve my english

About me, i'm easy going and open minded. I like to engage with people, to have fun, to have drinks with friends, discover new places, go to concerts! I really like to cook... i can cook crepes and pies! I'm also interested in sustainable developement and alternative way of living. I'm not at all perfect (and really far away!!) in this area but i try to improve myself by doing little things like volunteering in organization, doing helpX while travelling, eating organic when i can, take carpool... Just generally be aware and think about what i do and the consecuences...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have spent a lot of amazing moments during my trips..
One particular is when i was working in the NGO in Mexico and we care about an Indigeneous Community. And 1 week end every month we went to the community to work in our projects. And each time it was amazing because those people to protect their own culture from spanish colonization had to cut them from the occidental world so they are completly isolate and live in the bush. So when we went there it was a real 'shock of civilization'. we sleep in the ground, eat with the finger and have amazing discussion about the life and how we live each other... I time i had to explain how i cam from france to Mexico / What is a plane? / How does it work... Good memories!
