About Me

CURRENT MISSION

SEE THE WORLD

ABOUT ME

Am currently squeezing in a trip on my 2 month summer break. Volunteering in Kenya for a month then exploring Scandinavia. Travelling on my own so would love to meet some awesome people :)

Im a fairly relaxed, easy going (find me an australian who isnt) person who love's to travel and experience new things.

I love to discover new sensations, tastes, music, movies, experiences, areas, smells, languages, cultures - i love to try it all.

I feel a strong connection to the environment and nature, although i do enjoy getting lost in a city. I LOVE architecture and get super excited about different cities different styles and periods of architecture. I will ask you annoying question about the heating, windows, doors, floors, building materials and probably compliment your furniture too much so you will think I am planning on stealing it. No. I just love interior design :)

I love to cook and learn new recipes - i could be a very happy person if i was just left to eat all day. Best way to explore a new country is eating all the food - Madeleine Thorburn, 2010. I work in a cafe at home. I am super passionate about my job, my boss and my customers and miss it very much when I'm gone! I send my work postcards!

I'm an avid reader, and like nothing better than to spend an afternoon curled up in bed with a cup of tea and a good book.

I play netball, i run, i like to dance/drink/eat/chill/play/cook/travel.

etc. etc.

PHILOSOPHY

It's in the making - being shaped and altered with every day i travel

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host, be hosted or meet up. Couch surfing is such a wonderful community in that it links up likeminded individuals who otherwise may not have met.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hostels are awesome and you can meet some really cool people but it's such a different experience from couchsurfing. Couch surfing gives you the opportunity to be invited into someone's home, learn their culture and what makes them tick. It's an opportunity you won't get unless you really make an effort to get to know someone and be apart of their world. That's why I love couch surfing, you get to travel the world through people.
