About Me

If one would say something about me it would probably say that I always smile -not compulsively, I am not THAT kind of person - and that's how I see myself, a smiling person.

I love climbing, sailing, skiing, working for festivals of music. I am trying to play the cello the guitar, the piano and the trumpet. Not everything at the same time.

I love photography and poetry. I always have a book in my bag -and I never read it.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that my personal philosophy is to be positive because it is the brightest thing that keeps us alive!

My innemost belief lies in the very heart of mankind. I believe in the power of all expression of love and intelligence. I believe in a bright future for mankind. But, of course, this is my naive perspective of life...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is great for meeting new and interesting people from all over the world

Interests

My main interest at this moment of my life is violin making. I am now building 3 violins at once, restoring 3 others and trying to fix my cello because I'd like to change its sound. :)

I adore music, jazz music, classical music.... Of course I love movies and documentaries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: too many

Books i am reading -or not because lying in my bag-: Quando Teresa s'arrabbio' con Dio-Alejandro Jodorowsky, Le livre du rire et de l'oubli-Milan Kundera, L'uomo che scambio' sua moglie per un cappello - Oliver Sacks, I capolavori di Brecht, Herzog - Saul Bellow

Maybe let's put a kind of list of some artist I particularly admire, not in order of importance :

P. Picasso, D. Shostakovich, H. Hesse, H.C. Bresson, G. Guarneri, Matisse, Jodorowsky, J. Mitchell, D. Bowie, K. Nomi, A. Honnold, J.L. Borges, P. Neruda, T. Yorke, D. Reeves, C.D. Friedrich, G. Mahler...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled a lot alone and with my uncle. I visited Dubai, China, USA, France and Italy with him. We met a lot of unbelievable people from all over the world and we saw interesting things together.

Strange things I eat once :
- a grilled insect in china
- the beef's brain and tongue in switzerland
- a pigeon in italy
- the snails in france
- some mexican's insects in italy

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to build a violin starting from a big piece of wood.

And I'd like to learn to climb a mountain without oxygen, arrive at the top, lie down and enjoy the surrounding...
