Living in Toronto again after six years in Germany and South Africa!

I'm 25 and a dancer freelancing in Toronto. I lived in Hamburg for a while, and did a lot of couchsurfing while I was there.
I love to travel, so I'm lucky my job lets me see so many exciting places. In my spare time I like to read, write and cook.

My response rate is really low, cause I didn't log in for a very long while I was continent-hopping. Someday I will reply to all those old messages, but today is not that day. Hopefully I'll be better in the future.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was amazingly useful when I was travelling around for auditions in Europe. I stayed with some really cool people which made a lot of my more stressful trips much easier.

Ballet is pretty intensive, so it takes up most of my time. But I love to read, write, cook and just hang out with great people! For some extra money when dancing doesn't pay the bills, I work at an Italian bakery, which I really enjoy!

I love all sorts of music, but some of my favourites are Arcade Fire, Decemberists, Dodos, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens (to name only a few.
I'm a very avid and eclectic reader, indulging in all sorts of fiction, history and philosophy
I enjoy movies, but I'm no movie buff (in other words, I have no idea what I'm talking about).

On the beach in Toronto, there was an incredible pale yellow sunset on one side, and a big, glowing moon on the other, with the city skyline laid out between them. It looked like something from another world, but right at home. I love to travel to experience beautiful and exciting things, but it felt so good to know that you can find that right in your own back yard, too!

Not to brag, but I'm a pretty solid improv-cook. Other than that, I don't have much practical knowledge to impart, but sometimes a good conversation is the most educational experience!
