At easy going chap living in London who loves beyond all things to travel. First and foremost, travelling for me is about meeting new people, exchanging perspectives and having real moments all over the world. Spontaneously organising trips is one of my great passions, from Madrid to Manhattan, Berne to Birmingham. I am a Travel Specialist for South America so spend all day talking about travelling, although when I come to organising my own trips I try to stay away from the luxury hotels and prefer meeting people in living space (also, who has the money!?). I am also a keen filmmaker and find that travelling actions the creative part of my brain, so we may find ourselves discussing project ideas. Beyond everything I love to laugh, open myself up to others and create good moments through trust, respect and banter.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

A long time ago, one of my best friends told me about couchsurfing. At the time she was a couchsurfing addict, hosting almost every night! I was fascinated by the brilliant array of personalities we encountered flashing through her life and how we were made to look at own city (Brighton) through constantly shifting perspectives. Since then I have travelled extensively in South America and ended up in London. London is a fascinating place because it sponges up people from all over and I’ve been lucky enough to experience that commingling in my time here. An open-minded space where people from different backgrounds, cultures, ways of thinking can meet and merge with curiosity and without judgement is what makes a city interesting for me. Through couchsurfing I am looking to experience such places abroad, gaining an insight by getting under the skin of a city, reaching its people and sharing moment that still time.

I am a keen theatre goer and have dabbled in acting and creating my own projects. My plan is to free up some time by moving somewhere new soon (Madrid? Buenos Aires?) and work on a play that has been brewing in my subconsciousness for a while. I am a filmmaker (low budget realness) and am currently editing a feature length made during my time working as a teacher in Chile which accompanied my travels. Nothing serious, these projects are a way of me capturing a moment and holding the memory of something made with a group of loved ones at a moment in time. I love going to watch films, reading, walking, running and exploring without limit or the pressure of time. I love music (who doesn’t?) and am involved in Sofar in London as an MC. I would love to see gigs in interesting spaces all over the world. Discovering interesting places for a drink and to go out.
