Hello, I'm a mature student studying a healthcare degree in the South of England. I'd like to use Couchsurfing to meet nice people, have more travel opportunities, and hear lots of interesting stories and ideas about life.

I really like the idea of meeting more people and learning from them. Wherever I've travelled the best thing has always been the friendliness and kindness of people I've met.

I've done some hitchhiking and some Workaway stuff, and knew of Couchsurfing but for some reason it's taken me this long to actually give it a go.

As soon as I'm in a position to act as a host I'll do so (currently I'm a mature student at uni in shared accommodation).

Too many to mention but my favourite album is Once Twice Melody (Beach House), and some of my favourite authors are Sally Rooney, Ian McEwan, and Hanya Yanigihara.

I've been lucky enough to meet wonderful people while hitchhiking and walking in Spain. Those have been some of my most peaceful and special days. I know it's a bit of a cliché but for me it really is the people who make travelling special.

I would write something here about my favourite days but they are very simple and it would be hard to convey in a couple of lines how much they meant to me. But that's a lovely topic to talk about in-person.

I have a little bit of experience teaching English, and I'd be happy to help someone with their English languages skills.

I'm trying to learn French, and I also love to practise my Spanish.
