Overview
About Me
I am a Franco-American, born in France to a French mother and an American father.
The majority of my adolescent life I have lived in America. However, after studying abroad in Japan my junior year of college I have become fascinating with learning the politics, economies, cultures, and languages of East Asia and have thus lived in Korea or Japan for a total of 4 years. Due to my interest in this, I decided to attend UCSD during the fall of 2015 to get my Masters in International Affairs. Living abroad for so many years of my young adult life, I have many stories that I love sharing with others. And I am also a climbing fanatic. Some call it an obsession, I call it a way of life.
Interests
My interests span far and wide.
I'm very much an outdoors person and am very well
traveled. I spend most of my free time climbing and
hiking when possible. If I don't have access to any
climbing crags, I enjoy hanging out with friends,
sharing music, and enjoying a nice refreshing beer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most music, but my true passion in music
comes in the form of underground hip-hop.
Two of my favorite MCs is Cunninlynguists and Gang Starr.
In regards to books, I tend to read mostly fantasy such as Lord
of the Rings and Game of Thrones as well as many linguistic-related
books, mostly those written by Chomsky and Steven Pinker.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived abroad in multiple countries.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach, learn, share. All three of these notions I could not live without.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share some very interesting stories and viewpoints regarding
East Asia, as I have lived in Korea and Japan for the majority of my
adult life and have studied the two countries' cultures and languages
extensively. And I have a slightly unique perspective on many things
as I am half French and grew up bilingual.
Countries I’ve Lived In
France, Japan, South Korea, United States
